Outreach Curriculum

Outreach programs are where museum educators will travel to your location to offer a presentation of your choosing. From libraries to senior centers, summer camps to family festivals, and more, our programs are adaptable to any age level, flexible in scheduling, affordable, and FUN!

We offer dozens of different presentations across a wide range. Popular topics include bugs and wildlife, fossils, chemistry, history and archaeology, and astronomy. We can tailor presentations to suit K-12 students or adults.

All of our presentations are grouped into seven categories: Earth Science on Wheels, Bugs on Wheels, Wildlife on Wheels, Science on Stage (chemistry, energy, and physics-focused), Science Start (K-2), Docents to Go, and the Discovery Dome (planetarium shows).

To book a field trip, please submit the Outreach Booking Form at hmns.org/bookoutreach. A Reservations coordinator will be in touch within 3-5 business days to begin planning your program. Your Outreach is not confirmed until you receive an invoice and confirmation from the Reservations department.

We require at least 4-6 weeks’ notice before your desired date. However, we recommend requesting your preferred program and date as soon as possible for the best availability.
