Prerequisites: Requirements 4, 5 & 8 We use communication skills throughout our lives. Scouts will prepare and participate in effective communication skills from public speaking to digital communication.

Scouts BSA – Signs, Signals and Codes (One-Day Class)

Discover the history and development of ciphers and codes and the importance of the signs and signals in our everyday lives.

Tiger Cub – Sky is the Limit

Sky is the Limit – take a tour of the night sky, exploring planets, stars and constellations. Burke Baker Planetarium included. Tiger Cub classes are designed for Scouts currently in the 1st grade. One free adult with purchase of a child’s ticket. A Parent/chaperon must stay with the scout.

Arrow of Light – Engineer

Arrow of Light – Into the Wild

How do different countries get along? Do events affect a country’s economy, security, and health of its citizens? Scouts will discuss international relations, the various political systems, and what it means to be a world citizen.

Junior Girl Scouts – Programming Robots

Junior – Programming Robots – Learn the step by step instructions that programmers use to develop an understanding needed to program robots. Junior classes are for Girl Scouts currently in Grades 4–5. One free adult with purchase of a child’s ticket. A Parent/chaperon may stay with the scout.
