Experience the nature of Costa Rica like never before with the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Tour the beautiful northwestern province of Guanacaste and discover the lush rainforests, mountain views, and white-sand beaches. Visit El Bosque Nuevo butterfly farm, where all the profits from butterflies are used for research, reforestation and acquisition of new lands for the reserve. Joined by Entomologist and Director of the Cockrell Butterfly Center, Lauren Davidson, encounter the small critters that inhabit the area and learn what makes them important.

Registration
Registration requires:
1. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person for HMNS members and non-members.
2. A completed registration form per person (pages 6-8 of the brochure).
3. A copy of each person’s valid passport.
This trip is for ages 16+. Each minor must be accompanied by one ticketed adult guardian. Availability is based on order of complete registration.
